Consulting

Michael Yam has served New York's financial district since 1984, developing software in C/C++. Published in Dr. Dobb's Journal, he has written on topics such as programming for the Palm platform and porting a thread library between Unix and Windows. He believes complex software projects succeed when developers participate in the entire development cycle, from architecture and design, to coding and testing, to documentation and deployment.

Past clients include MHT (now JPMorgan Chase) and NYSE/SIAC. Past projects range from a medical application for the Palm handheld to multi-threaded servers delivering real-time data to the floor of the NYSE.
