There are three components to SoapMH:
Patient tracking is managed by a program named WaitingRm ™. It resembles the Palm address book, supporting lookups, categories, and private and masked records.

With categories, you can classify your patients as "Active" or "Inactive." Alternatively, if your practice takes you to different locations -- private office, clinic, hospital -- you can use categories to track your patients by location.
Insurance companies that appear in the popup listbox can be customized. Tap the "Insurers" label and a dialog box will appear, allowing you to edit up to 10 names.
Once patient data has been entered, you can start logging encounters by pressing the "SD->" button. Encounters are managed by the program named SoapMH ™.

SoapMH maintains a log of every patient visit, tracking symptoms, the symptom severity, medications, and your notes. When creating a new session, entries from the previous session are automatically carried over. This provides a sense of continuity and jogs your memory regarding your patient's condition from the last visit.
Although we have tried to capture the most common symptoms, not every practitioner would agree with this list. That's why you can add, delete, or change the default list. The tabs at the bottom (Mood, Anxiety, Psychosis, Dementia) can also be renamed to support other areas such as alcohol abuse or sexual dysfunction.
The session date and time stamps can be changed as well. This allows you to add historical data, or to just record a patient visit at a later time.
SoapMH can gather data you've entered to produce a SOAP note in your handheld's Memo Pad application.
